1. Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Jason Meadows from Calera Oklahoma

2- Your album "100% Cowboy" was a success. Many people talk about it. Do you work on another Cd?

Yes I am currently working on my new cd called Straight Up Country I hope to have a new single on the radio off the record by the end of October 2009.

3- Sometimes people compare you to Chris Ledoux. What do you think about that? Do you had relation with Chris?

I think being compared to Chris Ledoux is a good thing in its own way. He was a very successful person in his carrier so I hope mine will be as good! He also was a real cowboy as my self. I never did get to know him personally but when his family found out I did a song talking about him they did call to say thanks!

4- You are 100% cowboy. Is it only for music business, or are you real cowboy, riding horses, working on your ranch?

I have always since I was born been a cowboy. I still rope and ride when I get the chance for me its just a way of life and something I will always enjoy! Once a cowboy always a cowboy!

5- What influences you in your lifestyle, in your manner to sing?

The thing that influences me in my music is to know that I have fans out there who want to hear more of the music I make! I get to do what I love most and that is to make my music for my fans! Knowing that I might change someone's life or make them have a better day by hearing something I sang means a lot!

6- Who are you favorites artists? and favorite newcomer?

I have always been a fan of the old country Haggard and Jones and a little George Straight never heart anyone! I don't have just one favorite I love them all! If I have to pick a new guy it would be Kevin Skinner he just won Americas Got Talent show! They give a guy who really has talent a chance to make it in life and think that is great. He is the real deal.

7- When you don't sing, what do you do?

When I am not singing I like to spend time with my family and friends. If its summer time I am on the lake or ridding horses or dirt bikes or just what ever I can do outside! Fishing, hunting I like to do it all!

8- What do you think about country music evolution?

I think that country has gotten a little to far from country but I think it is time to roll back around to the good stuff! So I am trying to make a point to jump start it with this new record I am putting out called Straight UP Country!

9- What is your feeling after your coming in France to Equiblues festival?

I would love to have the chance to go back to France and sing again. The people there are so nice and know what country music it all about! It is great to know I have fans that far across the world. As far as the Equiblues festival goes, it was a very professional run place. Every one was on there game and we had a blast at that show!
